Here are a few of the things they're saying about The Warrior Sheep Go West.

“Another preposterous romp full of wild coincidences, evil scientists, mad magicians and enough misunderstandings for three novels.”

Kirkus Reviews

The adventurous episodes keep things moving along, while the hilarity takes hold especially during the second half of the book. —School Library Journal

For readers who like car cashes, unlikely heroes, and plenty of wildly amusing action, this book is a must. The characters are deliciously funny, and readers will find themselves rooting for the five sheep, who truly are heroes.

And here are some non-sheep things.

We opened the garden for the National Gardens Scheme last Sunday,14th August.
The sun came out and so did the people. 300 of them!

We raised £888 for the NGS.
And we served tea and cakes all day
and made £400 for the Ventnor Boxing Club.
It does a great job for the kids - adults too - in Ventnor.

They won't be kept out! Our garden is featured in the August edition of Good Housekeeping UK. Lots of summer flowers. And the Warrior Sheep get a mention too! Of course they do.

Plant of the week. Or more precisely, last week. It's pretty much over now. Dierma. (Angel's fishing rods). Just love the way they sway about in the breeze.  Ok. the wind.  Plenty of that  again today.

July 20: The yellow dahlia in the white border. Does it stay or does it go?

I tried to pretend it wasn't sooo yellow. But it is. It had to go. To a new home in the mixed border, replaced by Zantadeschia and Lychins Alba.
